Better Decision Making (with Derson)

Brief description and Purpose.

The purpose of the 2 days is to give participants new skills in decision-making, by using a combination of a case-study, examination of examples of good and bad decision-making, some ground-breaking thinking on techniques for getting to better decisions and for learning from outcomes. This intensive workshop is designed for 8 to 15 participants.

Key Outcomes

On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Distinguish the reasons for good and bad decisions
• Use a framework to improve the chances of successful Key Outcomes from decisions
• Use techniques for breaking the vicious circle where repeating the same actions delivers the same unproductive results
• Get hindsight on the likely outcomes of decisions before they are made
