Stucco – a tool for getting out of
a ‘mess’
A ‘mess’ is typified when we
repeat the same action or actions and expect a different
result.
Stucco enables
groups to examine their actions, look at the outcomes, factor
in external forces and come up with a set of apparent beliefs.
The next part
of the process is to turn these apparent beliefs on their
heads – to challenge them – this is where real insights occur
- and as a result, come up with new potential beliefs, which
leads to new actions to get us out of the ‘mess’.
A typical
Stucco session is run for groups of 5 – 15 people and takes
from 60-90 minutes to run including facilitated feedback.
